Trade-off: this is the red-beam GLL50-20, not the green GLL50-20G, and the optional lithium battery is sold separately. Bright conditions can reduce visible range. Confirm the package if a tripod, pole or separate positioning accessory is needed.

BLACK+DECKER BDL220S is a simpler indoor layout tool with two backlit bubble vials and a 360-degree rotating wall attachment that can project a line at different angles. Its page lists AA batteries and a wall attachment in the package.
